Privacy

Cobalt & Co is the trading name of Joshua Gittens, a UK sole trader based in Scunthorpe. Contact: cobaltcorporations@gmail.com.

When you use the contact form, your details go straight to my email. Nothing is stored on this site or in a database. I don’t share what you send with anyone else. I only use it to reply about your preview or project.

When you pay for a build, payment is processed by Stripe. Cobalt & Co never sees your full card number. I keep what I need for records (name, email, amount, invoice) and for Self Assessment. Stripe’s privacy policy covers how they handle card data.

Terms

Free website previews are no-obligation samples. They don’t create a contract, and they aren’t a finished live site until we’ve agreed a package and you’ve paid.

I don’t take deposits. Payment is due only once you’re happy with the agreed standard. The package fee is then paid in full before the site goes live. You own the paid build once full payment is received and it goes live. Hosting is separate and optional.

Each paid package includes three rounds of revisions to bring the work up to the agreed standard. A round is one batch of feedback handled as one set of changes. Further revisions or out-of-scope work are charged at £60 per hour.

I don’t invent claims about your business — we use copy and details you provide.

Refunds

Because no deposit is taken and payment only happens once you’re happy with the agreed standard, there is normally nothing to refund before payment. After payment has cleared and the site has been handed over or gone live, package fees are not refundable. If we cancel without delivering the agreed paid work, any amount already paid for undelivered work is refunded on a fair basis.
